Comic Con Cape Town is getting a bigger home. The 2027 edition moves to CTICC 1 (Cape Town International Convention Centre), with dates confirmed for 24 to 27 April 2027.
The venue change is a direct response to complaints about previous editions, specifically the multi-level hall layout that made navigation more effort than it needed to be.

CTICC 1 puts the entire event on a single floor, which should make a noticeable difference if you’ve ever spent twenty minutes trying to find the exit at a convention.
The move also means more room. More exhibitors, more activations, more capacity for attendees. Capitec returns as headline sponsor for the second year running.
Comic Con’s continued evolution
Show Director Carla Massmann confirmed the thinking behind the switch:
“This move represents an important step in the continued evolution of Comic Con Cape Town. CTICC 1 allows us to build a more seamless and accessible experience while expanding what we can offer to fans, exhibitors, and partners. It is a direct response to community feedback and supports the long-term growth of the event.”
