Free State and North West will also see cloud cover and isolated afternoon thundershowers, with Bloem, Kimberley, and Vryburg hitting the 18 to 20°C range.

Limpopo and Mpumalanga can expect morning fog, especially along the escarpment, followed by isolated showers in the east.

Cape regions: Mostly calm

As per the recent weather warnings:

  • Cape Town: looking good with clear skies and a pleasant 21°C.
  • George and Gqeberha: cloudy early on, fine and mild later in the day.
  • Northeast of WC and EC interior: isolated thundershowers by late afternoon.

Durban and Richards Bay are in for scattered showers throughout the day, with heavier rain expected along the north coast.

Inland towns like Pietermaritzburg will be cooler, with fog early on and patchy rain later.
