Actor Jessie T. Usher is bringing the heat to Comic Con Africa at Johannesburg Expo Centre from 29 to 31 August. You know him as the lightning-fast A‑Train in The Boys.

He’s got the range (from sci‑fi to horror to drama) and he’s finally coming to Africa’s biggest pop culture fest.

Jessie T. Usher is a big deal

He owns high-energy roles, like A-Train in Prime’s The Boys and spin-off Gen V. And he’s done horror (Smile), drama (The Banker), and comedy (Almost Christmas).

Some of his other credits include:

  • Dylan Hiller in Independence Day: Resurgence.
  • John Shaft Jr. in Shaft, opposite Samuel L. Jackson.
  • Sam Elijah in Pulse.
  • Cam Calloway in Survivor’s Romance.

So, expect depth, excitement, and maybe a tear or two.

What he’ll do at Comic Con Africa

He’s got a packed programme:

Main Stage panels

Ask your burning questions. He’ll spill behind‑the‑scene stories and drop career insights with humor and warmth.

Autograph sessions & photos

Want a selfie with A‑Train? Now’s your shot. But you’ll need a Comic Con Africa 2025 ticket and a Howler add‑on pass.

He’s also hanging around fan zones and roaming the Expo. Who knows? You might bump into him at the gaming section.

His presence brings serious star power. Who wouldn’t want to connect with a sitcom-to-sci-fi hero who’s done it all, and is down to talk about it?

If you want a weekend packed with excitement, fandom, and stories from someone at the top of his game, don’t miss this.
