KFC is set to make its mark on Comic Con Africa 2024 once again, returning as the official presenting sponsor of the event. This year, the popular fast-food chain will bring back its well-known Kentucky Town pop-up, offering a blend of exclusive food, merchandise, and interactive experiences for attendees.
Limited-edition menu and new collaborations
Fans attending Comic Con can look forward to a special edition KFC menu, specifically created for the event. KFC promises an array of meals inspired by Comic Con culture, featuring a mix of popular classics and new items. “We’ve crafted this menu with the Comic Con fan in mind,” KFC said, inviting guests to explore the full range of offerings available only during the event.
Additionally, KFC will be showcasing its KFC x Imprint collaboration collection, giving fans the opportunity to purchase exclusive merchandise alongside KFC’s famous sauces.
Partnership with Uber Eats brings convenience
One of the more practical additions this year is KFC’s partnership with Uber Eats. This collaboration allows attendees to skip the lines and have their meals delivered directly to them during the event. Through the Uber Eats app, fans can order from the exclusive KFC menu and continue to enjoy the Comic Con festivities while waiting for their meals to arrive.
“We want fans to have more time to immerse themselves in the Comic Con experience, and our partnership with Uber Eats helps make that possible,” KFC said in a statement.
Interactive fun at Kentucky Town
KFC’s Kentucky Town will also host a variety of interactive activities. Attendees can test their gaming skills with the KFC Play VR Challenge, competing for a daily prize of R3000. The winners will be featured on the Main Stage each day. In addition, fans can capture their memories at the KFC Bucket 360-degree camera, with opportunities to win Uber Eats vouchers for sharing their videos on social media.
Located in Hall 6, next to the Main Stage, Kentucky Town aims to offer more than just food. With a mix of interactive entertainment and exclusive items, it promises to enhance the overall experience for Comic Con Africa 2024 attendees.
