TikTok has announced a new partnership with Eventbrite, aimed at offering event creators a streamlined way to promote and sell tickets through the platform. This collaboration allows users to add Eventbrite links directly to their TikTok videos, facilitating the discovery and purchase of event tickets within the app.
With this integration, TikTok users and Eventbrite creators are now able to promote their events more effectively. Any Eventbrite creator or TikTok user can embed event links in their videos, making it easier for viewers to access event details and purchase tickets without leaving TikTok.

The partnership is designed to benefit a range of event creators, including local and independent organizers, by providing a platform that enhances visibility and encourages participation in live events. The tool is expected to support the growth of smaller events by increasing exposure and engagement within the TikTok community.
Best events in the city
Ted Dworkin, Chief Product Officer at Eventbrite, stated, “We’re giving creators a simple way to jump into trending conversations and bring online communities together in real life through events they’re passionate about. With this partnership, millions of people can now easily discover and attend the best events in their cities, right from where the conversation is happening – on TikTok.”
Isaac Bess, Global Head of Distribution Partnerships at TikTok, added, “TikTok is a global community of over a billion people, who share their real-world joy, passions and experiences with other like-minded users. Eventbrite has the same ultimate goal: to connect communities, whether it be at festivals, concerts or neighbourhood gatherings. Our partnership with Eventbrite will help event creators to connect with the TikTok community and introduce a wealth of fantastic real-world events to our users.”
Key features of the partnership include:
- Seamless Event Promotion: Users can add Eventbrite links to TikTok videos, allowing the community to explore event details and purchase tickets directly from their For You Page.
- Faster Ticket Sales: Tickets can be purchased via an in-app browser on TikTok with minimal clicks.
- Multiple Event Promotion: Creators can add multiple event links to their videos, with TikTok displaying the most relevant events based on user location.
- Increased Reach: Both event creators and general TikTok users can amplify event promotion and reach broader audiences.
This new feature is available in several countries across Sub-Saharan Africa where TikTok and Eventbrite services are supported. Eligible events must be in-person, publicly listed on Eventbrite, and have paid tickets, occurring within the next 90 days (or 180 days for music events).
